Our luxury yacht cruise starts in the port of Civitavecchia, gateway to the ‘Eternal City’ of Rome. Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to the all-inclusive, 100-guest Emerald Sakara to begin our journey along Italy and Corsica’s breathtaking coastlines. Embarkation begins at 2:00 pm.
Note: Your flight should arrive in Rome (FCO) by 2:00 pm. Your transfer will be included from the Rome airport to the yacht for flight arrivals today.
Enjoy lunch onboard and then time to relax, unpack and get settled into our cabins. Join fellow Sooners this evening for a Welcome Reception and Dinner.

Explore the Amalfi Coast, a UNESCO World Heritage site renowned for its stunning landscapes and historic charm. Nestled in Southern Italy’s Campania region, this coastline has captivated visitors since ancient times with its beaches, grand villas and vibrant beach clubs clinging to dramatic cliffs.

In the evening, the yacht will set sail for the glamorous island of Capri.

The Emerald Sakara will anchor near Ponza, the largest of Italy’s Pontine Islands known for its rugged cliffs, hidden grottoes and crystal-clear turquoise waters. Head ashore to explore the charming harborside village at your own pace (shore excursions are not offered).
The highlight of the day is the Emerald Marina Watersports Platform. Swim in the turquoise Tyrrhenian Sea and enjoy the use of stand-up paddleboards, kayaks, snorkeling gear, SEABOBS, a water trampoline and floating mats.
Porto Cervo, Italy
Day 6 | Thursday, June 11, 2026 (Anchor / Tender)
On the island of Sardinia, Porto Cervo is a hotspot for discerning travelers drawn to its upscale hotels, luxury boutiques, exceptional restaurants and vibrant nightlife. Porto Cervo’s marina, with its many opulent yachts, is the host of prestigious sailing events such as the Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup. Despite its reputation for luxury, Porto Cervo hasn’t lost its unmistakable Sardinian charm.

Take a step back in time, exploring Bonifacio’s atmospheric Old Town, a fortified medieval citadel filled with quaint narrow streets and historic structures. Be sure to visit The Staircase of the King of Aragon (Escalier du Roi d’Aragon), a steep flight of steps carved into the cliffside, which descends to the clear, blue-green sea below.

Our voyage comes to an end today as we disembark the Emerald Sakara and transfer to the airport for the journey home.
Note: Disembarkation begins at 8:00 am and flights should depart Rome (FCO) after 12:00 pm. It is approximately a 60-minute drive depending on traffic. Your transfer is included from the ship to the Rome airport
